Women on Boards Workshop: This workshop will be held Wednesday Nov 23rd 2016 starting at 6:30 at Algonquin College Room T334.

CAAWS Women on Boards Workshop
Few women are involved as board members in organizations affiliated with the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association. It is critical that women are around the table to have a say in decisions about how organizations are run, programs delivered, and money spent. If you have considered joining a board, or are interested in supporting other women in this role, this workshop is for you! Participants will learn about boards and how they operate, key factors to consider before joining a board, and how to recruit and retain women into these important leadership roles. This workshop will be delivered by the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS).
