The Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association is a not-for-profit organization and the governing body for soccer in Eastern Ontario. The EODSA is comprised of over 60 Members and represents over 35,000 soccer players. The EODSA develops, supports, governs, and maintains the game of soccer, both indoor and outdoor, within the geographic boundaries stipulated by Ontario Soccer.

We are seeking League Administration services.  The contract will be for the 2022 outdoor season with the possibility of annual renewal.  Individuals and organizations are welcome to submit a proposal.  The role reports to the EODSA Executive Director.  Summer students will typically be hired to support the League Administrator. The EODSA District league typically services about 200 teams.  The divisions are organized by year of Birth, and then are tiered into two or three divisions. Those divisions could be further split geographically.  The league works with 19 Clubs and the EODSA.  The season typically starts in May and ends in August, although there could be alterations to that.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Season duties
set up league software
add divisions and teams, assisting Clubs with activation and roster creation
work with Clubs to allocate fields
create schedules for League and Cup games
support Clubs and teams through their pre-season set-up
keep league website up-to-date; post memos and notices
In-Season duties
liaison with referee assigner to ensure all games have referees assigned
oversee and review game sheets
oversee and review all discipline 
order medals and trophies; organize delivery and season end distribution to winning teams
ensure all scores are recorded in software
handle all league correspondence, including complaints in a timely manner
coordinate Cup finals; fields, schedules, referees and trophies
Season-end duties
ensure all scores are updated, where promotion/relegation is in play
Calculate teams eligible for promotion
Season report to the Executive Director
Preparation and updates to Club and Team documentation and manuals



CONSIDERATIONS
The EODSA puts a high value on member relations. Demonstration of strong relationship management skills should be included
The EODSA operates a virtual office.  Attendance at virtual meetings will be required at mutually suitable times.

REQUIREMENTS 
Documented communication skills, with emphasis on email writing skills
Highly organized and efficient
Accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of E2E league management system 
Excellent professional and personal ethics
The ability to work independently without direct supervision

PRICING
Pricing should be done on a per team basis.

Proposals are due by December 22, 2021.  The deadline for questions is December 15, 2021.  All questions will be shared with all interested parties.
Because of the nature of the EODSA’s relationship with its member Clubs, Staff members and Directors of Clubs are not eligible to apply.
