As of December 26th, 2020, all in-person soccer activities are suspended until further notice.
As of Nov 12th, 2020, EODSA Clubs can now Return to Phase 2 under the updated Return to Play Guide and Plan.
The Ontario Soccer Return to Play Guide (Updated Nov 22nd) consists of a three-phase approach that includes:
Phase
1: Return to Training (modified training) - Some EODSA Clubs have started Phase 1
Conditions: All Phase 1 Return to Train conditions are met
Restrictions: No contact, no league, exhibition, festival or
tournament games

As of Oct 10th, 2020, EODSA Clubs in Ottawa have now gone back to Phase 1 for a 28 day period until Nov 12th, 2020.
As of July 17th, 2020, EODSA Phase 1 Clubs can move into
Phase 2.
Phase 2: Return to Training and Modified
Games (enhanced training & modified games)
Conditions: All Phase 2 Return to Train conditions
are met
Inter-squad and Intra-squad modified games
permitted (only within the Club/Academy)
Restrictions: No league, exhibition, festival or
tournament games
As of September 17th, 2020, enhancements to
Ontario Soccer’s Return to Play Guide/Plan (Updated Oct 10th) Phase 2
will now incorporate modified games between different Clubs/Academies within
the same region. See Return to Play Guide/Plan for full details.
Phase 2: Return to Training and Modified Games
(enhanced training & modified games)
Conditions: All Phase 2 Return to Train conditions are met.
Age and Stage modified competition between Clubs/Academies
permitted for Inter-Squad play AND/OR within the same Region (EODSA, SOSA and
SNE).
Restrictions: League, exhibition, festival or tournament
games within the Club/Academy AND/OR Region only and following conditions as
set out in Phase 2.
Phase 3: Return to Soccer (regular competition, games and training)
Conditions: Social distancing restrictions have been lifted
Restrictions: None
The phases outlined above apply equally to all recreational, competitive and high performance level soccer.
Note: Ontario Soccer will determine timelines for each Phase in alignment with the Province of Ontario provincial health authorities involving government orders, restrictions and guidelines. This will be communicated via future Action Bulletins when applicable.
